The Board of Leader Universal Holdings Berhad (LEADER) wishes to inform that the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange has approved our request for suspension of trading of LEADER's shares on 7 February 2002 from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. pending an announcement on the outcome of a fresh Bondholders' Meeting to be held on 7 February 2002 on the Proposed Amendments to the terms of the Euro-Convertible Bonds of LEADER which were announced on 20 November 2001, 12 December 2001 and 16 January 2002.
